Nashville Star Morgan Myles Headlines Liz Alessio’s 5th Annual Harvest Hoedown Benefiting NEWS kids programs
Premium Event Features Live Music, Gourmet Food & Wine, and Auction to Support Domestic Violence Crisis Center
July 3, 2025
NAPA COUNTY, CA – June 2025 – Napa County Board Supervisor Liz Alessio announces that NEWS, the county’s domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center, has been selected as the beneficiary for the 5th Annual Harvest Hoedown. The premium fundraising event will take place Saturday, August 16th at 5:00 PM at D’Ambrosio Vineyards.
Nashville powerhouse Morgan Myles will headline the evening, bringing her acclaimed country vocals to Napa Valley. The event will also feature welcome reception bites by Chef Kristine Schug, BBQ by Robin Baggett of Alpha Omega, and exceptional silent and live auctions showcasing local wine and experiences.
“We’re incredibly honored that Supervisor Alessio has chosen NEWS as this year’s beneficiary,” said Tracy Lamb, Executive Director of NEWS. “This event will directly benefit the children in our youth programs – kids who have witnessed domestic violence or experienced sexual assault and need specialized support to heal and thrive.”
NEWS has served Napa County since 1981, providing crisis intervention, shelter, and support services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. In 2024, NEWS provided safety to 1800 people in Napa County, and reached more than 1,200 children through prevention and support programs.
“Children who witness domestic violence often carry invisible wounds,” explained Lamb. “Our youth programs provide these children with trusted adults who believe them and the chance to simply be kids again. Every ticket purchased helps fund support groups, dedicated children advocates, and activities that teach these children they matter and deserve love.”
The Harvest Hoedown has become one of Napa County’s premier charitable events. Early bird tickets are available for $195 until July 15th, with regular admission $225 thereafter. Corporate sponsorships and tables are also available.
