About Liz Alessio

While serving on the Council, Liz has advanced substantive policies aimed at increasing housing opportunities, providing more permanent supportive housing for the homeless, and investing in safe streets, sidewalks and pathways. Prior to serving on the City Council, Liz spent 20 years in the healthcare industry, including 10 years specifically working on public health and community relations. Liz has also been a small business owner in the local tourism industry. Liz’s father was in law enforcement, her mother a retired banker, and great-great grandfather was a Napa County Supervisor from 1901-1904, 120 years ago. Liz is married to Jess Hudak, has five adult children, and three grandchildren.

Liz has been an active and positive presence in the community for decades, serving on several boards, coalitions, and committees. Some of Liz’s current positions include:
